Bitterroot River

The Bitterroot river fly fishing has been decent on the upper stretches and is slowly starting to come around on the rest of the river. Salmon Flies and Golden Stones on the upper stretches has been the main game. Some dry fly action on the lower and middle but the nymph and especially the streamer game is where it’s at right now. Conditions and fishing should improve in the coming days.

Clark Fork River

The Clark Fork River is starting to come around but still a little to off color to be a decent choice for Missoula fly fishing rivers. The Clark Fork is clearing up day by day and we expect the upper stretches to fish decent later this week followed by the lower stretches in the coming weeks.

Rock Creek

Rock Creek fly fishing has been great. Still some Salmon Flies kicking around on the upper stretches and Golden’s following behind. We are starting to see lots of Green Drakes in the clouds too. The flows are starting to get to better wade fishing level and this is a great option to fish this week.
