Fishing Report 6/8

Bitterroot

The Root is running high and should stay that way for the next few weeks. Plenty of good tributaries up this way that will fish good. West fork is high but the Salmon Flies are out and fish are eating them.

Blackfoot

The Blackfoot is high and off color. Give it a few weeks and it should turn to that nice green color that we all love to fish. Tributaries up here such as Monture, Clearwater, Gold Creek, ect…. will be good options if you head up this way.

Clark Fork

Most of the Clark is high and muddy. The upper end is at above average flow but it has pretty good visibility and is a decent option at this point.

Rock Creek

Rock Creek is high but good clarity. Salmon Flies are out thick from the middle of the Creek all the way up to the top. This is the time we all have been dreaming about for months. The fish are more then willing to eat just about any big orange pattern out there. We have been running single dries from start to finish up there and that has kept us busy all day with willing fish.

Missoulian Anglers 30th Year Anniversary will be Saturday June 24th.
