Missoula Fly Fishing Report
The rivers have been up and down with the rain. This is our rainy season and the rivers will swell with any decent amount of precipitation. As we have said before, while this may put the fishing off for a day or two now, it will pay off later in the summer.
Rock Creek: The Salmon flies have made it all the way up to The Micro-burst. The streamer fishing has been productive in the morning and around lunch time the dry fly fishing is taking off. They are eating the bigger flies down lower and the low-pro stuff in the middle river. With the bumps in flows Rock Creek is your best option for fishing around Missoula today.
Don’t forget about all of the Tribs. As a whole they are fishing very well right now!
