Wading Boots With Commercial Fishing Toughness Built In

Grundens has been making gear for commercial fishermen since 1926, and their wading boots carry that same no nonsense build: tough uppers, reinforced protection where boots usually wear out, and soles that take cleats when the rock gets slick. We carry all three Grundens wading boots.

  • Rock Armor: the most protective boot in the lineup, built for boulder rivers and canyon water where lighter boots get chewed up.
  • Bankside: a lightweight boot with a Vibram sole for days that mix hiking and wading. Takes optional alloy cleats.
  • Bedrock: a waterproof nubuck leather boot in rubber or felt, with an EVA midsole for all day comfort. Works with Grundens cleat and stud kits.

Wading boots are built to go over a neoprene bootie, and every brand sizes a little differently.
