How's the Fishing?: 4/5

The Blackfoot fishing has been great the last few days. Water level came down, temps warmed up, and the salmonfly hatch is starting. Most of the big bugs are on the lower half, but they should keep moving up river over the next few days to weeks. We're starting to see some Golden Stones and Green Drakes hatching as well.

The dry fly fishing should continue to fish well and the streamer fishing is really starting to pick up too.

What Hatches are Going?

Salmonfly, golden stone, green drake, and yellow sally.

How's it going to be in a couple weeks?

The big bugs have started and weather is looking great for fishing on the Blackfoot. The dry flyt fishing should continue to get better ands better in the next week to two. This is a hard time to beat when it comes to fishing the Blackfoot river.
