Born in Missoula, MT Dustin started his addiction of fly fishing at age 10 with the instruction of his grandfather Hartley Scott on how to cast a fly rod in the back yard of his ranch in Western Montana. Dustin started his guide career in Washington in 2009 where he explored the state waterways and coastal tributaries, then moved on to Idaho, after the rivers there were under the boat he made it back home to Montana to become a full time Missoula fly fishing guide. He also spent a season on Kodiak Island Alaska, guiding streamer anglers to big salty Coho, Chum, Sockeye and Dolly Varden. Dustins time off consist of Carpentry/woodworking, Bird hunting and of course streamers and dries anywhere he can get to that has water!
