Originally from Kentucky, Joe Boone moved to Montana to fish and ski, while he pursued a degree in Geology at the University of Montana. After many years of fly fishing around Montana, Joe chose to share his knowledge and expertise with others by becoming a fishing guide for his favorite Missoula fly shop. A science teacher by profession, and geologist at heart, Joe brings knowledge, skills, and patience to each of his guided fly fishing trips. When not guiding, you can find him teaching Earth Science at CS Porter Middle School, spending time with his wife and two daughters, and of course fishing.
